Late, because:
There is some sort of anticorrosion treatment for face-lifts
Less vacuum tubes to crack and fail
EFI
Less chrome
All the plastic stuff around the headlights cover the top bit of them, which gives the car a meaner look

Early, because it has the rear m3 look,and my “316 m10” has m20b25 implant ,aand boyy the euro bumper is s3xy AF

I drive late model and I lime it more when stock but early model with pfeba or m tech 2 body kits are the way to go. Ill trade my 88 325ix for early 325ix coupe if anyone wants it 😃

Late model. In America the early model has low redline (4800rpm) engine versus the late model,has the 6500rpm redline. And i like the looks of the body color bumpers.
