Why Mustangs crash:
The answer is simple, almost intuitive really… Bad drivers. That’s it, nothing more.
However, there is a deeper more interesting issue surrounding the Mustang than the countless crashes: The propaganda war.
That’s right, I said propaganda people, get your tinfoil hats out folks! There is a clearly deliberate effort on the part of automotive journalists the world over to disenfranchise the Mustangs. Intentional marginalization.
Why?
Beats me. But I have my theories. Chief among them is the threat they (Mustangs) pose to literally every other performance car out there. Assuming you have no intention of going on a legitimate Rally Stage any time soon there are few other cars that can cover all the bases whilst also offering an affordable price tag. They are PROVEN drift missiles, drag racers, GT circuit racers, road warriors, Show cars, etc. Truly a jack of all trades if there ever was one.
So what’s the problem with them?
There isn’t one, that is the point. It provokes the deepest recesses of our subconscious ego to go into defense mode. Like how we saw the straight A student, who is also the quarterback of the football team, prom king, student body president, and Valedictorian. Everybody HATES that guy ( I know I did in High School.)
However there is a paradox there, if everybody hates that guy why is he so popular and successful?
Well… We have a word for that.
Envy…..
So are people just jealous they don’t have a Mustang themselves? No absolutely not, that would be a naive thing to say, and frankly that would sound a lot like an excuse or a copout.
So if it’s not jealousy, why then is there such a deliberate effort to ensure everybody hates the Mustang on the part of otherwise respectable journalistic outlets?
Well… It would seem to me the best way to eliminate a threat is to marginalize it, disenfranchise it, convince people to disavow it based on slander. The reslut of this sort of rhetoric is abhorrent, and has been repeated countless times throughout history, so much so there is a word for it. Propaganda.
The short answer (as it appears to me anyway) is that the automotive world is threatened by the sheer, undeniable greatness of the late model Mustangs. So much so there is campaign of disenfranchisement in place.
That’s just a theory of course… And i’m just another butthurt Mustang driver and/or fanboy who can’t take a joke right?
Well… It’s really hard for me to be butthurt when my car looks like this:
SO WHY THEN WRITE A BOO-HOO BLOG ABOUT THE MUSTANG?!
That’s an easy one….. You haters are missing out, and I pity you.
Comments
PREACH BROTHER!!! But in all seriousness it’s true. Unless you have a V6 then it’s worthless 😂😂😂 jkjk hahaha I have a V6 and I’m proud of it!
Lol… I was gunna say…. um.. don’t you have one??
I never hated the Mustang, hell, I actually like it, quite a lot, and I never get why the Mustang itself gets the hate, when its the drivers who fail to realize and control that 300-500 bhp.
I don’t think I’d buy one though, since for Fuel Economy….Well….As a Mustang owner you can probably tell.
Yeah… lol fuel economy is a joke and the 15 gallon tank and 150 mile range is even funnier. I always maintained it was the Mustang “GT” as a grand tourer surely should be able to go more than a couple hours without a drink.
