Why I HATE the 5th Gen Camaro.
#blogpost
First off…if you love or own one of these things, relax.
Know I hate it…but respect your right to love it.
Hey, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”, right?
No worries, then.
Lets get to some reasons why I feel this way.
Does this even matter?
WARNING: Severely Sleep Deprived Dude writing this now.
Also he is only using Google to acquire images. No knowledge surfing.
Meh. See how it goes.
All from memory. Off the dome.
It’s gonna jump around a lot. En…joy?

Bumblebee: Straight up EXPLOITATION of an American Icon
Okay, yes…the Bumblebee spec Camaro is a pretty awesome car. But for one: IT’S HOTSHOT not
Terrible movies. Awful.
I feel like Comic Book Guy is your perception of me, but I am not that cool.
Anyway
Back to the list of reasons I hate that its “Bumblebee” the Camaro
They should leave Bee-themed American cars to the pros
I know none of these are named Bumblebee and that a spec of a car shouldnt be the basis of my opinion of that car as a whole…but its really difficult not to think of every time I see a 5th gen.
I lame Michael Bay for putting Megan Fox in them.
He knew what he was doing...
For at least the whole first year of the Fifth Gen Camaro’s life after an 8 YEAR hiatus was just toys, posters, video games…
It made it appeal to a lot of people. But it didnt work on me.
See, I know that the open mouth gets fed…but some fatties should keep their mouth shut and not gain so much weight you nearly keel over and die. That was what happened.
The sales skyrocketed initially. Then started spiraling.
Always loosing to the Mustang.
Sales wise. Cant say for “on the track” because I really didnt follow this car. Why?
Somehow its both Boxy and Fat.
Funky combination of curves and lines…just makes for an unpleasant viewing experience. Number of reasons why that is. Mainly because…
Post 2008 Chevy
That’s right…make sure you leave real sharp points on your pitchforks.
Really not a fan of a LOT of Chevy cars after the good ole Taxpayer Bailout.
Because the ones I have lived with and seen every day
Suck.
Chevy just went downhill for a while there. They tried mixing it up by bringing back a classic ponycar. But they failed to make it a ponycar.
What we got in 2010 was just…this weird mix between a sports car, two door midsized sedan and a floppy attempt at a musclecar.
(Regular ones not the ZL1 or a modified one, obviously)
You get all the crappy plastic bits you’d expect from an American car after the 1980s. Remedial interior. But you get to go pretty fast.
Is it worth it though?
Is it worth all the attention?
All that machismo and testosterone. Eeesh.
Thats just weird to me.
The whole “Look at me”
Guess thats just proof I prefer Euro cars.
Sue me.

I personally am not a huge fan of the 5th generation… but I do like Chevrolet because of their early muscle years.
Oh they had some of the greatest.
Yenko anything.
Chevelles
Novas
Malibus
C2 427 Stingrays
ElCaminos
So many greats
I’ve never liked 5th genre Camaroes, always looked ugly to me, and power outputs were a bit pathetic (for a muscle car) if you didn’t get an SS or ZL1
(This is coming from a Chevy fanboy)
Right? Theyre ghastly
*generation is what I meant.
I am a big mustang freak but i really like the 5th gen camaro, i think its the best looking Camaro (us spec)
I like them, but only becuase of looks. I perosnally like the looks of it. But only when it’s modified. I’ll get some pics of what I like and reply to this comment
Well, I couldn’t find any pics of a wideboy one that I saw once, must’ve accidently deleted it. But I gotta comment something, so here’s this
I prefer the facelift 5th gen.
To me it kind of looked like a rushed concept car made for the sole purpose of competing with the Mustang.
Kinda like the First Gen?
