5 awesome front end conversions you probably didn't heard of

I’ve been wanting to write an article on here for so long and I finally decided to do it. So I’ll be showing you some of the most beautiful and interesting front end conversions I found on the interwebs. The majority of theses conversions are made on japanese vehicles mainly because the JDM cars seem to be subjects of front end swaps far more often than euro and american automobiles.

The first one is a EK9 wagon. We would probably praise this as the ultimate petrolhead’s cheap and fun family car if it ever was a production car, but it didn’t, sadly. So this is a Honda Orthia with a Honda Civic EK9 front end. The Ek front bolts straight on the wagon with a little if no kind of modifications needed.

For the second car is the only non-japanese vehicle on this list. Here you have an aggressive widebody Volkswagen Eos fitted with a Scirocco front end from the same manufacturer (obviously). I couldn’t find a lot about the swap itself except that it isn’t very complex. This is probably the most agressive looking Eos you will see. This particular one is fitted with an R36 engine reaching the 300 horsepower mark, so this thing is definitely no slouch.

Yes this is a Miata and yes I know that they are everywhere on here but this is not your normal Miata. This superb looking roadster has been trough a whole load of modifications including a full Pit Crew Racing front-end conversion from Japan. The parts needed to do this conversion are extremely rare since the kit has been discontinued. The Mx5 now looks more like a 60s roadster than a 90s hairdresser’s car.

You are maybe asking yourself “what am I looking at ?”. You probably already heard about all the crazy kits available for the famous last gen Mazda Rx7. This now is less known about than the famous Veilside kit or the RE-Amemiya. This is a Red Tamon design FD Mazda Rx7. This impressive looking illuminati confirmed doritos powered automobile (<—-ran out of synonyms) isn’t really regongnisable for the untrained eyes. Still not sure if i would ever do that to mine if I was to ever own one of these.

Finally the last one, I HAD to include a sivlia of some sort in this list. This car has a front end coming from an unexpected source, a Honda Odyssey, yes a minivan. I really don’t know how someone had the idea to do this but gawd was it a good idea. To do the conversion you will have to buy new fenders, a new bonnet and a new front bumper. As for getting the headlights I’m sure you can get creative enough to find a way to get them. Who thought that a minivan front conversion could make this car look this aggressive.

So there you have it, those were five beautiful looking front end conversions that I found. Do you know some that I didn’t include if so share it in the comments. More articles from me will be coming soon.

You might want to correct the title with “haven’t” instead of “didn’t”
