Lanzante Motorsport (the people behind the P1 LM and GTR road conversions) have announced that they're working on a limited run of P1 GT's and P1 GTR Longtail's.
Earlier today, Lanzante Limited announced via Instagram that it is currently working on creating two new P1 GTR variants: the P1 GT, and P1 GTR ‘Longtail’. Though the information given regarding the two new cars was minimal (at best), it’s difficult not to get a little bit excited for what may well be the ultimate (and final) iteration of the P1.

That must be really limited since the GT and GTR are limited versions of a limited car.
If it’s anything like the F1, the P1 GT will likely be limited to 3 units (and be incredibly expensive)
Someone in my neighborhood has one of these and he drives around on nice days…he loves it when people tell him to rev it

What’s the difference between all of these editions?
Assuming that Lanzante are basing these two new models on the McLaren F1 GT and F1 GTR ‘Longtail’, it’s likely that both cars will feature a longer nose and tail over the ‘standard’ P1 GTR, as well as potential engine modifications. The GTR Longtail will (again, assuming that they’re paying homage to the F1 variants) be a more track-focused car, whereas the GT will be more suited for the road.
