In Bogotá street racing has become a threat for society. Not only because the drivers that run on the streets are more aggresive. Not only behind the wheel but when police arrives there are some people who pull out guns to ‘defend’ from the cops.
On the other hand they make it harder for real enthusiast. Now it is harder to go for a car meet without having the cops arriving and asking everyone to leave because it seems like they are meeting for street racing then car meets might be “illegal” too.
Until now, what I have seen about the people who race on the streets is that they are only posers who doesn’t actually care about cars. They go there because they want to feed their need of adrenaline, but with the emotion of doing something bad and not by feeding themselves with real sportmanship. I absolutelly disaprove this kind of practices.
