Car Scene in Greece
Well I couldn’t resist and decided to make a “Car Scene” post for my country, Greece.
Our love for Japanese cars.
We have organised a couple of “Japanese Only” meetings, which were very successful, with a big diversity of cars. From drift, track only, stanced, oldschools and so on.
Don’t forget though. We are in Europe and brands like VW, BMW, AUDI and PEUGEOT are really famous for petrolheads.
Especially BMW’s e30, e36 and e46. Also Peugeot’s 106 rallye ( seriously those little things are everywhere ) .
Drag Time.
Drag races are really famous here, not only with cars but with bikes aswell. We kinda lack in tracks but old airports are a nice alternative. Worth mentioning the Audi above, as maybe one of the fastests road-legal Audi in the world, clocking on 9 seconds range.
Going Uphill.
Way back in 1956 the now famous for us ‘Ritsona Hillclimb’ took place for the first time. Since then we’ve seen many good drivers and exceptional cars going full throttle in all of the 21 corners. Cars like E Type Jaguar in earlier years and Ford Escort being really famous.
That was it boys and girls, I hope I gave you a general idea of our car scene, since there are many more little things that I didn’t mention.

Great Article… 😉
Been to Greece multiple times, since we are neighbors and damn! You roads are f@cking incredible! Unbelievable scenery! Just awesome! Sadly I don’t know much about our car scene. I always learn new things about it.
Indeed we have great roads to explore the scenery, but the roads in towns are awful :(
Spotted this Opel Corsa OPC in Delphi in a trip I took to Italy and Greece last summer.
And an Audi S3, at a gas station between Delphi and Athens.
Yeah OPC is kinda common to see here.
And a Citroen 2CV
And yet another 2CV, also Athens.
