2014 Toyota GT86 Supercharged
Car was featured by carthrottle https://www.carthrottle.com/post/9-modified-japanese-heroes-in-the-car-throttle-garage/ about a year ago hoping me to get engine mods and here she is with a bit of exterior mods, making more power and better handling upgrades.
Recently got it supercharged with Sprintex SPS stage 2 intercooled kit. Which turns out to be NZ’s first unit as it is a revised version of stage 1 and introduced in 2016.
Was making 250whp and 285nm on base tune and got it custom tuned with EcuTek and achieved 326bhp and 317nm on pump gas RON 98, not too impressive but enough for 1200kg car. And she whines hard. drives like a dream.

OMFG THAT IS SWEET PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE KEEP US UPDATED ON THAT BEAST. Now for some questions. Have you ever hit the drag strip, if so what 1/4 time? What 0-60 time have you achieved? How long has this project been worked on? What year did you get it? Whats the hardest you put it to? Then whats the highest top speed achieved?
Thanks. I haven’t done any 0-60 time but i was able to beat evo 10 on a rolling start. The 86 is not that good doing 0-60 time even with 450hp it will only make it up for 4.6sec. I have been working on this car when i picked it up brand new in february 2014 when i was 18. Never done any top speed cant drive that fast in new zealand :(

Yea no choice, I was wanting to get turbo kit but only bcs ive got aftermarket tomei headers fitted and doesnt want to chug it away so i decided to go with supercharger route hah
