For those of you who may just be starting out drawing cars, keep up the hard work. You will be amazed how far you can come in a relatively short time.
I was digging through my old sketchbooks and came across a rather startling comparison. The car on the left is one I drew in 2007, and the one on the right is from 2012. We all start somewhere, so keep trying and never stop improving your skills!

Just practice or did you go to classes or something. I am somewhere above your first pic but not close to your second so i want to know how to get there. Your drawings are beautiful

I have had no formal drawing classes, I just practiced a bunch. It helps to try drawing things that aren’t cars, and then drawing cars again from there. I was once told that “learning to draw is learning to see”, and I have to agree there. A big part of drawing cars well is to see how their shape translates onto the paper.
