Anyone think i could do these mods to a Vw up?

Vw up! mods
new racing Clutch
Flywheel skimmed
balancing crankshaft
re bore each cylinder
skim head
recondition 3 cylinder head
crack testing
new alloys
new tires
strip out interior
new race / sport seats (bride , corabu etc)
roll cage (if needed)
turbocharger (if possible)
air filter
oil filter
de restrict air intake
ECU remap
Plexiglass (instead of glass windows)
New fuel injectors
Bigger brakes
Steel braided fuel lines (for the brake fluid )
Custom exhaust (if it improves performance)
New steering wheel (like MOMO etc)
New coilovers
Lightweight bolts/nuts

(if there are anymore more ideas of what i could do please let me know)

the great thing about cars is that pretty much anything is possible. However the bad thing is even though it’s possible it’s more than likely going to be expensive. Looking at that list I can guarantee it’s going to be expensive.

if it makes it run better and can improve performance depending on the oil i would call it a modifcation. (say if you had an oil cooler with it along with new oil , you could change gears quicker or slower depending on how viscous you want the oil)

so your telling me , that if say put normal oil on a rally car it wouldn’t make any difference at all? , wouldn’t make the gears over heat or anything from the amount of friction?

Oil can make a difference depending on how viscous it is (which allows you to shift slower or quicker through gears) and how long the gears will last which in turn affects things like your 0-60 time etc (not by much i know but it does make a difference)

They’re all possible but I recommend you to swap for a 4 cylinder maybe from a Polo or Golf first.
