Mods and racing: go for Assetto. You want a nice and difficult full game then go for dirt!
I would say dirt rally
Assetto Corsa. There are rally mods as well. Best racing game/sim ever !!
Assetto obviously
Both… I am sure you won’t regret it ;)
Assetto, you can do both. But if you want purely rally, dirt rally.
Dirt Rally.
BOTH!
Probably not the first saying this but get both, they are both great games, now the one you buy first, buy the one you feel like you will enjoy the most.
An alternative to NFS, and you consider two simulator-like games? Personally I have both, and I think DiRT rally can be way more punishing than AC, requesting more dedication. It really depends on what you prefer, asphalt precise driving or blasting on the side of a cliff with more hp under your bonnet than you can use on the gravel, and have to change your pants when you finally complete that 10’ stage you’ve been trying to do for the last half an hour. An hour of reckless driving in DiRT is comparable with two hours of AC to me, if we compare the adrenaline. But if you’re the guy that hates restarting events because you’re not good enough finish them, avoid DiRT. Don’t choose the game based on the number of cars
If you use a wheel, buy AC, then when you are confident using it get DiRT too :)
