Awesome. How difficult was the conversion? What engine?
I didn’t do all of the conversion I just helped with the crankshaft issue. The Getrag 6 speed my friend bought was from a ‘06 RS4 and it matched the 4.2 V8 because it’s the same engine. He has another car so it was on a lift and he had the transmission connected to the engine when I arrived. The transmission is shorter than the auto so we had to make a custom crankshaft to match. Surprisingly the transmission mounts did match up but the crankshaft was difficult!
