Watch The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Take On The World (Almost)
Believe it or not, it’s been over a year and a half since Alfa Romeo first revealed the Giulia. And yet, it’s still not quite sunk in, has it? After all those years of rehashed front-wheel drive Fiats, suddenly we have an all-new, rear-wheel drive Alfa, sitting on a brand spanking new platform and available with a Ferrari-ish V6. It’s almost too good to be true.
With all that in mind, you can’t help but wonder where the top-of-the-line Giulia Quadrifoglio sits amongst its rivals. That’s what the guys over at Motor Trend wanted to find out, in this head-to-head battle. Since a ‘head-to-head’ doesn’t really work with four cars, the three rival cars - the BMW M3 Competition Pack, Cadillac ATS-V and Mercedes-AMG C63 - fought it out on track, with the winner sent to give the Alfa what-for.
Let the battle commence…

Alfa 159 for sale, would swap for guilia..
Does it run?
Mine too.
Alfa Romeo really ramped it up with this beast. I want to see it go head to head with the next RS4.
I really like the body form of the Alfa but the front end is just hideous.
Motor trend makes better car content than TG S23 and GT S01 combined…!!
A valid statement only when they’re not testing a GM vehicle against anything else.
The m3 did really well against the alfa eventhough it is significantly down on power. Thats the car i would choose imo.
XR6 Sprint be like: no worries, mate

Always rooting for Alfa.
The sounds from the tailpipes of the AMG and the ATS-V sound the best to me…
The AMG V8 sounds amazing. The ATS-V your hearing the speakers not the engine, all that noise is fake because the twin turbo V6 doesn’t sound good.
ATS-V with a LT1 V8 instead of the twin turbo V6 would be best sports sedan in the world.
