You might hate this, but have you ever thought about squeezing a V8 in there, not necessarily an LS? Very clean car though, looks awesome!

There was a company in the 60’s called Crown Engineering that made a mid-engine conversion kit. It allowed you to put a V8 of pretty much any size where the rear seat went. It gave the car almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution. They went out of business long ago, but there’s still a handful of Crown cars floating around. There were other kits around that time too that set the engine further back, but they were too tail-heavy for most people’s taste. Nobody makes a kit these days, but a few guys have built mid- or rear-engine V8 cars by fabricating it themselves.

The 140 had a crazy daisy-chained throttle linkage to work the four single-barrelled carbs. How are the secondaries controlled on your setup?

Beautiful car - my dad had a ‘66 Marina Blue 140 Corsa new. I’ve had three ‘65s.

The Monza clock you have in there is also a pretty rare find, particularly if it works.
