Nissan Primera. A real Nissan #TinyBlog

The Primera or Infiniti G20 (in USDM) is a compact sedan produced by Nissan between 1990 and 2008. It was the replacement of the Bluebird.

It was a FWD car offered with a 5 speed manual gearbox and 1.6 , 1.8 and 2.0 liter engines. This last one was a N/A SR20 which can do 150 hp at 6100 rpm! The version which had a SR20, the Primera GT, was capable of reaching 219 kmh (137 mph) and 0 to 100 kmh (0 to 60 mph) in 8 seconds, but I have personally seen a 2001 1.6 Primera do that in less than 7 seconds.

3 Generations were made, the P10, P11 and P12. They were made un 3 body options, the 5 door hatchback, 4 door sedan and a not very common state version. The P11 suffered a facelift in 1999, called P11 144, really cool and soft shapes were given to the Primera. Then in 2001 the P12 Primera was released. Both versions were not avaible in the USA.

Curiosities:
-The primera won the BTCC in 1999.
-A few P11 AWD versions were made (Primera T4).
