Why American Car Enthusiasts Should Try Out Pickup Trucks And Muscle Cars #blogpost
I have come to realize that American muscle cars and pickup trucks aren’t really a worldwide phenomenon. Sure, there are muscle car clubs in Central Europe and Malaysia, but in those places there are a lot more JDM and Euro clubs compared to muscle car clubs. It’s relatively easy to be a Euro or JDM fan pretty much anywhere across the globe, but not so for muscle car fans for many reasons.
As an American citizen, I have a unique opportunity. I can experience a class of cars such as muscle cars and big trucks in their natural habitat. I could participate in the JDM lifestyle like many other kids my age, but I could buy and modify Miatas pretty much anywhere else on Earth pretty easily. That doesn’t mean that Americans shouldn’t be JDM and Euro fans. What I’m trying to say is that Americans have the unique opportunity to experience pickup truck and muscle car culture up close and personal, not to mention at a bargain price to boot. There are many American car enthusiasts who “waste” opportunities American car enthusiasts who live outside the US would do anything to get; meaning that they choose to drive around in JDM and European rides while they could be driving American hunks of steel.
Being a car enthusiast in America and never driving muscle cars and pickups is like going to an amusement park and only going on half the rides; you’re really missing out.

Was the first picture made in Gran Turismo?
Yes, but I got it off of Google Images. I’m more of an Xbox guy
I’d love to come to America and see it all. I love the big trucks and muscle cars but most American cars cost a ton here.. same with the trucks even a bad one costs more than a really nice Rodeo..
Atleast here in Aus I see muscle cars and v8s regularly. Soon to see one every day when I go to the shed.
America and Australia are basically cousins

100% agree. Being up north in Alberta means a truck is one of the only ways some can commute. So much better in snow as well that those crappy 2wd SUV’s everyone’s buying these days. Hey! Trucks are awesome as well.
