Toyota Supra
does this need an explanation? my father used to own one, and i can tell you that a 2JZ is not a good engine for daily driving. and also, it is not relieable. everytime i see a post that says how “2JZ IS LIFE” i really just want to leave the website. the car is overrated, and the engine is even more overrated.
Nissan GTR
no, this car is not the ultimate god of cars. it is not the fastest car ever made. it is not the best car ever. just looking through the comments on youtube, or the comments on here, a lot of people seem to think this thing is the fastest thing on earth. and let me tell you, ITS NOT!
Nissan Skyline R34
do i really need to talk about how overrated this one car is? a chrysler 300 is faster! about 50% (probably more) of all CT users are in love with this thing, and i don’t get it. is it becosue it was in fast and furious? is it becouse it made the GTR R35 possible? is it becosue it is japanese? i dont get it. this car does not deserve the attention it gets.
and now i will just wait until someone tells me to “kill myself” or something else.
also, this is my opinion, you dont have to tell me how great these cars are, becosue i will never ever say that any of these are underrated.

The thing that makes me laugh most about the aventador is that i still isn’t capable of beating the McLaren F1 as the fastest N/A car. Kinda silly if you ask me.
When I was a younger man I hated lambos. I just didn’t see the point. It wasn’t the best car on paper. I thought they were poser cars. Now I have driven a few supercars I think lambos are the best. They’re just so much more eventful than anything else. More noise, more fighting, more fun. It’s hard to explain properly but I’d have a lambo given the chance over the equivilent ferrari.

I totally agree on all your choices, the R34 is a great driver’s car with a damn good engine. But it’s way too overrated, and I don’t understand why.
The supra is also a great car, but I would never buy one myself.
Same story with the R35, yes it’s an amazing cat from an engineers perspective, but it’s really just a quick good value supercar. It’s not bloody Godzilla.
As for the Aventador, well I had the opppitunity to drive one, and please read my review of it. (Look at my posts and find it:)

Who ever said that the GTR is the fastest car ever? Of course if you read comments of 12 year old kids on cars I could understand you, but like this it’s just salty.
To each their own, simple as that.
Some guys just love the batman looks of the aventador and of course non car guys don’t know much more about it than the looks.
The Supra is special for many reasons and the stock gearbox can still be used if the engine is heavly modified.
You get a lot of car for that price with a GTR and with that pricetag it is really fast and can compete with much much more expensive cars.
And yes the R34 GTR got mostly famous because of Fast Furious, but who cares how fast it is?
Cars are more about than just speed or how do you explain the love for the Miata and other cars?
I agree with you because let’s be real. You don’t care about the speed unless you’re a bit of a do**he. The reason we all praise these cars is because the way the captured our hearts. When I think about how much I love the R34, and how much I want it as my dream car, I don’t think of it because of the power, speed, or performance. It’s the emotional connotation and overall aesthetic I love about it. As for what everyone says about how overrated these cars are, focus on positive things, and stop being so negative. The last thing this community needs is more negativity, so get over it.

Just seems like a load of unnecessary hate to me. Also, sorry to let you down but there are and have been a number of world records held by R35’s so technically speaking the R35 is the best car in the world at say high speed drifting. 190MPH! Pretty impressive.
