1983 Toyota Celica Supra P-type
The Supra (mkII included…drove one in Forza 3 5 years before even getting one and fell in love) always had a special place in my heart due not only to the F&F but just because it was simply the best example of Japanese performance out there. 5 of my 6 brother also happen to be car guys and I was lucky enough to have a brother of mine buy an 83’ P-type (the definition of unkempt northern salt rust) back in early 2015. Due to other project cars and lack of time he was unable to do what he intended and knowing I was quite the fan, offered me the car, all I had to do was get it down from Ohio to Georgia. Being a newly graduated 18y/o anticipating college it was difficult to plan but I got it figured out. There was one point where the guy shipping the car took it off the trailer and was unable to get it back on so he left my baby Supra in a church parking lot in some hick town in northern Georgia on a Saturday afternoon. (He still made me pay in full before even giving me the address…wt*) Fresh off a vacation this is exactly what I wanted to deal with but I was able to pull things together last minute and at the expense of maybe 15 hours and another $220 dollars I got it home safe and in one piece… (still rusty). Now all that there is left to do is to work and gain funds so that one day I can have a Japanese performance spectacle sitting in my driveway just yearning to do skids. On 225’s with a stock 5m idk, but dreams were meant to be dreamt and LSD meant to be shreadt?
