1965 Lincoln Continental
A restoration project my dad and I took on a few years ago, she’s nearly done, just needs minor adjustments.
Original 430ci (7.0 liter) motor
Original 3 speed auto trans
Curb weight between 5,000 and 5,700lbs
126 inch wheelbase
Drives like a boat and rides like a cloud.

God this is a beauty man. I wanna have a resto project with my pops on a 69 camaro since my mom and him totatled theres like 30 years ago
Thank you man! There was a lot of blood and sweat put into this. There’s probably still skin off our knuckles hanging off some of the bolts underneath.
That sounds amazing! Except the totaling. And I love those 69’s in blue with white racing stripes and some chrome 5 spoke wheels and a nice exhaust so you can hear the V8 rumble.
Hell yeah man i bet hahah. But thats what makes it worth it too. And yeah were talking about a blue like that or their old color way. Yellow and black racing stripes
That would be beautiful man! I’d love to see the restoration on one from the start.
I’ll post pics of the different steps we went through if I can find them.
Truly incredible vehicle beautiful classic
Thanks man, I really appreciate it!
Handel like a ship?
Yeah man, the power steering is insane and the body roll is out of this world. It’s just soft, everything is soft, like it should be in a luxury vehicle :)
This is wicked. Not enough of these around
Thank you! Yeah the 65 is hard to find.
Had a soft spot for these after seeing what Gas Monkey did to one in one of the early seasons, though doubt it’d work too well over here in the UK!
I haven’t seen theirs, I’ll have to check it out! And yeah this gets about 8 mpg or so. And it’s 17 or so feet long!
……….Got room for one more? hahahaha Amazing car, man!
Haha thanks man! There’s more than enough room in this thing. It’s like driving your living room!
So awesome man, nothing looks as cool as suicides on a continental
Thank you! Yeah that’s true, it’s a bummer the new ones don’t look like they’re going to get the treatment. :(
