2008 Mercedes Benz C300 Sport AMG Package

She’s a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport made for the US market, with an original exterior and interior AMG package (including front bumper, rear bumper, wheel arch flares, side skirts, sports pedals, sports steering wheel and model-specific gear shifter), with the factory Steel Grey metallic paint and black leather with aluminum accents). Currently she’s running the stock M272 3.0L DOHC V6 (rated at 230bhp, but mine is putting down just under 250 when running on 100 octanes), second generation 7G-Tronic ‘box that’s sending approximately 310 Nm to the rear wheels. She is sitting on a pair of 18” original AMG dual 5-beam alloys that I use for most of the year (drop down to base-level non-AMG 16”s in the winter).

I am the type of guy that likes to personalize his cars, and am a huge fan of the subdued, discreet sleeper look, hence all my upgrades are always the type of thing that non-petrolheads won’t pay any attention to. All the mods so far are purely aesthetic and to the exterior. Originally I toyed with the idea of making a pseudo-C63 in terms of looks, but dissuaded myself as it seemed to stray too far into ricer grounds, thought it would be better to keep it decidedly C300, just a slightly more aggressive version of what you would get from the dealership. So far, I’ve gone for a carbon fiber water transfer print on the front grille, side mirror panels, rear diffuser and the aftermarket AMG-style lip spoiler (that I sourced and put on myself). I also gave the rims a small paint job, painting the inside faces a heavy metallic black (along with the plastic part of the hub cap surrounding the three-pointed star), while the front part of the beams was finished in a bright silver metallic with a very fine pearl, just so they pop out more and give the the whole wheel more depth. More mods are certainly on their way, have some more work to do on the exterior when the weather gets better, before starting on the interior and eventually some small performance upgrades.

Thanks man, its great, i love it too. The car is an excellent proposition for a small sports sedan that boasts a good combination of everday comfort, practicality, performance, reliability and looks. If this is the kind of car you’re thinking about, i couldn’t couldn’t recommend it higher!

Yeah, id probably sell my liver for an AMG, if it was actually worth anything :D no, im the second owner. The car was made for the US market, we dont have this exact spec in eastern europe, but the first owner bought it brand new in Texas, imported to Bulgaria and put very little miles on it for a few years and then sold it to me for a killer price, simply because he didn’t drive it too much. I had been looking for a good specimen for some time, but naturally aspirated petrols arent very popular in Bulgaria due to our high fuel prices, but thats the only configuration i really like, so when i saw this one, i jumped at it right away
