2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Owned since Nov 2013. This is actually a really underrated platform. Great twin clutch (TC-SST from EVO X), great AWD drivetrain pretty much pulled from the Evo 9, and great engine with the 4B11T (Smaller turbo than the EVO X). Mod list below!

My 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.

Bought in November 2013, I’ve put mainly cosmetic work into her, but I haven’t ignored the performance stuff :) No it’s not an Evo, but hey, it’s got the same Engine (smaller turbo though), same transmission (as the MR) and basically the AWD system from an Evo XIII and I’m actually quite fond of it :)

It depends. If you don’t plan to go for over say 300 wheel torque, then I’d say it’s great project car. I say that because any more than that and you’ll need to look at upgrading the clutches which can be pricey. I’ve seen some really cool track car builds, and some awesome quarter mile build (current record is at 9 seconds). What most people end up doing is swapping in the Evo turbo. really easy and can be done for around $800 or so US Dollars including a tune. Good for at least 350 whp and 300 wtq.

TLDR, Yes.

I don’t blame ya. Quite a few people haven’t unfortunately. It’s just one of those cars that slips under people’s radars :P It’s either people will think it’s just a base model or they’ll think it’s an Evo. I get it all the time lol

Power figures?
With my tune (free downloadable basemap) it take the car from stock 190 whp and 225 wtq to a healthy 230 whp and 245 wtq. Not bad considering that’s pretty much what a stock Evo X Dyno’s at. And considering that I paid a total of $12 from stock for that gain :)

I was in the market to buy a ralliart or a brz in 2014 ended up with a brz. I the only thing that kept me from getting one was how hard they were to find new and that there was no standard manual available.

Haha actually if you look closely at the night shot, you can see some leftover mud on the mudflaps from a bit of mud trekking the day before :P In terms of mods, I’d call it more or less $4000 Canadian I’ve put into it. Mix of new and used parts (the used stuff was had for incredible deals though)
