Patriotism? Or just hate the fact that 4 cylinder cars can be good too. The real reason is because is a cheap car that new drivers/non car guys buy and rice them.

You see one comment and suddenly think all Americans hate Honda.
I think one of the reasons is that yes they are affordable and have the tuning market. It’s just the people on the internet who claim it’s the best car in the world and everyone should buy one. I love subies but I don’t think they’re for everyone. It’s like telling everyone online that an early GTR is perfect and lamborghinis, ferraris and McLaren’s suck.
Most americans hate your hondas cause on every conner every stop light theres some punk ricer that thinks his honda is Lamborghini. You cant be unique in america with a honda everyone has done everything to a honda possible. There just over populated
Some hondas (or acuras) are actually good im not a fan of hondas but i do want an integra
Because in ‘merica there are tons of douchey teens with there oakleys and big ass fart can on the back, trying to race every soccer mom at every light
It’s probably more of a 1:1 ratio overall. Many, many, many families here have used Hondas for 2-3 generations in their families and are die-hard Honda heads or w/e. You’re thinking of a muscle head and/or redneck which doesnt make up but 5-7% of our population. Still i live in north Texas (pop 120,000) where the percentage is more like 50% of the pop and still see new Hondas on the roads regularly. Source: my candid observations over the course of my life.
to me i like some hondas like the integra and nsx. but american muscle is based to much on how big there engien is and what time they can put on a quater mile
