I went to the car dealership earlier this week to look at a Dodge Dart, and my mom was cosigning my loan.
She was trying to convince me to buy a solstice,
Not that it’s a fast car…
But I go to buy a 4 door family car, and she’s trying to convince me to buy a red convertible sports car

Safety features are way more important than the power. I stopped using my talon as dd not because of the power. No airbags and seatbelts on a track, which is where the talon will live now… on a track.

I don’t understand why everyone’s panicking about their parents views on their car, the day I got my S13 me and my mum went sideways on a roundabout…she did say if the car didn’t kill me she would but I’m still here! :D

I don’t get all the fuss about parents allowing or not allowing you to have/not have. Get a job, earn money, spend it on what you want. i don’t see a “ask mom for permission” in that list of things to do.

Dude, if you’re 16, in school, living with your parents, and they won’t let you get a job, guess what? You don’t get a job. How is that hard to understand?

Car isn’t hard. Dad: you want to work hard and get a fancy car? go for it! Mum: you get a fast car i’m getting a shot! Bike on the other hand could be more difficult…
