I’d love to take a ride in one but I wouldn’t own one even if I was rich. There’s no challenge. It’s already super fast and super nice.
It doesnt look too good in pictures but I have to say, it looks completely different in real life. It actually looks very good…
I never drove one, soooooo
you can go fast and confortable and its a huge p*ssy magnet. what do you want more? oh and if you date a blonde girl youll laugh so hard when she opens the bonet and says "where is the engine? did you get robbed?"
It’s not overrated. It’s underrated. Especially by those who like to call themselves ‘true car guys’. I think it’s a beautiful car, and a wonderful achievement.
10 years of production, and still no car that can match it. That’s an indisputable fact.
I think the biggest problem this car has is that a lot of people just don’t understand it. It wasn’t built to be fun, it was built to prove a point. It was built to prove you could go +400kph without sweating or being shaken to pieces. You might say it is too comfortable, but that’s the whole point of the car. This car isn’t about driving, or about being a car, it’s about the engineering behind it.
Do you know what it takes to take a car to 400kph while still keeping it super stable and glued to the ground? Even F1 cars with all their wings can’t do that. To keep the car stable you need downforce. Downforce is proportional to drag. More downforce = more drag. But drag lowers your top speed. So you don’t want drag. But you want downforce. Which gives you drag. Which you don’t want. Because you want a high top speed. But then you need downforce. Which gives you drag. And you don’t want drag. See?
One of the clever ways of getting downforce on this car is the underside. It’s shaped to get a Venturi Effect. The Venturi Effect is the reduction of pressure in a fluidum when it flows trough a constriction. This creates a low pressure area, literally sucking the car into the ground.
And don’t forget, they started designing this car in the late ’90s. In 3 years time it will be 20 years since they started developing this car.
I don’t hate it, but i don’t like the looks.
I don’t really have an opinion of it. Never drove one and most likely never will. I think they look nice though
I just don’t like the engine, it just seems inefficient.
I’ve never driven one let alone RIDE in one, but I think the Veyron’s extreme speed and palacial comfort in its class would be driver’s bliss to me. Hell, I even like the looks. Its got some presence. It was a fine piece of work from the VW Auto Group, a car that’s unlike any other when it comes to its build. And let’s not forget that the quad-turbo 8.0L V16 engine which hit over 1000 HP was almost unbeatable at the time of its launch.
Personally, I think the Bugatti is a wonderful car. I just dont like the rich people who dont fully know what they have.
