Bad idea - putting a big engine in a small car with poor safety ratings is a bad idea.

This particular Hayabusa engine was tested at 602bhp on dyno at 30psi boost and expected to hit 700bhp at 45psi!(just look at the size of that turbo 😲)

If they mad this and sold it around $20k USD, it would be the best performance car hands down imo

DeKileCH (Opel Squad)

On paper it’s all fun and games but people seem to forget that this is an electrical car. In order to power it with a bike engine you would have to fit a whole drivetrain in there.

Not as hard as it looks. I’ve built bike engine powered toys. The transmission is integrated, all you need is a final drive and differential with your rear axles. If you put the engine where the rear seat goes and sealed it off with a heat shield you’d have plenty of room to fit everything. I’d be more worried about upgraded brakes, a full rollcage, 6-point harness, and massive tires along with a redesigned suspension to actually make it controllable and safe to drive.
