And for the record, I personally say it (and believe it is the rightful way to say it) as Nii-san.
But there are two “S”.
I pronounce it “Nissan”, exactly how it is spelt
The Japanese pronounce it as “nee-san” pretty much exactly like people in America do, so if you live in the U.S. and don’t have a super strong accent you’re already pronouncing right.
