So this picture resurfaced again on one of my gaming community pages comment section and there were some things said that I just don't get.

The idea is they want this to be the next map for the grand Theft Auto series. The updated map adds GTA Vs Los Santos into the San Andreas map while updating San Fierro, Las venturas, the Countryside and the LV badlands. From there if you go East you hit Vice City and North of that is GTA IVs Liberty City.

While people were hugely in favour of this saying “Yes” - “Make this happen” - “Spam Rockstar with this image til they take the hint.” some people were against it and they all had the same argument. It’s too big.

I’m sorry what? It is something I heard said about San Andreas too. “Too much time spent driving” Well pardon me but isn’t that really meant to be the point of this game? Yes you dabble with crime, shootouts and the American Dream but 90% of your time is meant to be spent driving. The game is named from the offence of stealing a car.

If you ask me. The bigger, the better. Fuel. The Crew. Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2. I’m looking at you guys. The online road trips are therapeutic and relaxing and the scenery in these games are great. When you’re stuck in the house because your car is off the road or it just isn’t the right weather for a lovely drive out a big map like this is what you want from a video game.

But they really need to make a huge car selection too. last thing you want is to drive coast-to-coast and only see the exact same Stratum, Buccaneers, Gauntlets, etc over and over.

i remember playing san andreas and i used to drive the NSX (inferno) up and down the massive freeway from venturas (vegas) to los santos (california). that drive used to be amazing, i would arive in vegas and just cruise down the strip, turn around then head off back onto the freeway for more fun

can this be developed for PC so that we can take advantage of the massive performance increase?

Probably 250gb it looks like 5 times the size of los santos. LS is around 130 Square miles. So this would be around 1000 square miles.

blah blah blah map this map that. Drive here. Drive there. Drive no where the way these tools play GTAV. I’m afraid of playing GTA V online because every session there are some tools who want to find and kill everyone. You really think they will let you drive around? hah!

Plus if you really don’t like driving take a taxi and skip ahead, or fly a helicopter in online

Have you ever played Arma? The map is insanely huge, even in a car it can take 40 minutes to get from one side to the other

i think its too big too. When its too big the Game makers can not put in so much detail in the world(The crew is the best example) And the game would be Too huge GTA V takes 63,9gb on the xbox one i dont want to know how huge it is on the pc .

Have you ever seen the size of the maps in the just cause series, there bloody massive, or the size of skyrim. Fallout 4 is going to be bigger than skyrim also, so it shouldn’t be all that hard to make the game large.

You’d want the jet fighter to actually do 700mph with a map that big

They need to sort the speedometer out if anything, you’re going at full speed in the t20 (p1) and it says you’re doing 120 like seriously

Unfortunately it is the case that the top speeds claimed are different from the top speeds the vehicles can achieve. Which is why half the time you can be speeding down the freeway and have some guy keeping up with you in his Dominator, Gauntlet, Banshee. You will pull away slightly. But there’s no 100mph speed difference.
