The supercharged V6 engine the Fiero should have come with.

L67 3800 Series II V6
240HP
300TQ

On a Fiero, this powerband will lift the front tires off the ground and achieve a mid 12 second mark on the 1/4 mile.

On a ‘88 GT chassis, this engine swap will double the value of the car itself.

The engine basically a FWD transaxle engine mated to the rear cradle. The engineering required to do this was impressive for 1980’s Pontiac engineers, who were young at the time and proved themselves within the GM corporate structure. I hope one day you get to experience a Fiero with this engine, it is unlike anything you will ever feel. Especially if it is equipped with a 5 spd getrag from ‘87 or ‘88 (this is the year I recommend). Cheers!

You could always pick up more power by top swapping to the gen 5 blower. But sick car overall.

If I were you I keep the transmission that comes with the 3.8 S2. you can try a F23 swap from the 2000-2002 J bodies and you’ll have one sweet sleeper. :-)
