Thoughts on Sticker Bombing

I have seen a decent amount of hate towards sticker bombing, but I want to know what you think it acceptable versus not acceptable when it comes to decals or stickers.

I personally don’t care for stickers all over the body of the car (see the 180sx provided), but I think some of the side windows on cars have a lot of potential to express what the owner likes or is into.

I also think there is a limit on what should be put on there. For example: I have stickers for one of my favorite bands, my favorite club, my school, and I am considering adding more. However, I won’t be putting stickers like “Chopped” , “illest” or companies that I do not have on or in my car.

So what draws the line in your opinion? Is it content or quantity? Or do you think that stickers or decals should be left off cars completely? Or maybe you love sticker bombing, and want it anywhere and everywhere!

What ever your opinion is, I’d love to hear it below in the comments!

I think a sticker on a car should represent something about you, your car or what you like

My car only gets the stickers of aftermarket manufacturers it has, and the stickers of communities and channels/people I support. Also sometimes when I’m lucky, I also get a deal of running a sticker for a company that does something for my car. One shop gives me free used tires, and one car wash does all the works at a 25% discount, which is nice, considering my car is washed 3 times a week, and is vaccuum cleaned once a week. What others got on their cars is their buisness…

My laptop and snowboard got the worst of my sticker obsession. When it comes to cars I can restrain myself.

It’s a fad, and they are easily removable. The most I’ve wanted to do is show what brands I use, but I only ever got the shirts tucked in sticker.

I think it all depends on the creativity the owner puts into it, for example, where to put it or what to put, if you hit that it could amazing in my opinion.

Stickers should be on the rear window and few of them in the bodywork, nothing that catches too much attention

Looks good on some cars, in moderation. The 180 you showed IMO was a bit overboard. And if I own a Mazda or Subie I’m not gonna sticker bomb and have a TRD sticker or other companies that don’t pertain to my car or parts I just simply don’t own. That would be like Putting a Ford V8 sticker on a rx7…
