E10. Because imo it is the best looking of the 3, It’s VERY easy to work on(Lots of experience here), handles reasonably well and if you want to go absolutely mad, you can drop a 4E-FTE or 4A-GE Blacktop in one quite easily. I used to have one of these and would absolutely recommend one. If you stiffen up the rear suspension with either a rollbar or stiffer springs(I prefer the springs) and change the steeringrack bushings with polyurethane ones, it becomes a fun little drivers car. And if you went the spring route, it does everything you want it to. Think along the lines of 5 people in it and 6 crates of beer in the boot.
OK, you’ve sure got me excited for one. Is there anything that I should look out for when buying one?
I love my E120. It’s a tank on the inside, some what sporty on the outside. Mine is a ‘07 Corolla S that has 110k New England Miles on it and no mechanical problems. Would highly recommend one. 😉
Was it expensive. I’ve seen several E120 on sale, and the ones in decent nick go from anywhere between $3000 and $4500.
