Does the 1st gear have synchroniser?

I guess no… But it’s just a guess

1952 and newer have synchromesh in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear..
1961 and newer have full synchromesh..

Ok, thanks for answer, it’s very likely that vw beetle engine will end up on the back of my Fiat 126 and I’m collecting all the information about it.

Later model beetle’s have syncro, i don’t think the older ones have
