This is what happens when you misjudge the performance of a car. I feel it is our duty as petrolheads to spread a message of safety. Drive safe guys, story is in the comments.

The car was a Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec. It was loved and cherished by its proud owner since that day it was made. Yet his 20-year-old son decided to take it away from him for a little joyride with two friends - one being a 33-year-old male and the other a 15-year-old girl who happened to be pregnant. After underestimating the car’s performance, he crashed, taking away 3 lives and the possible life of an unborn. Use this as your inspiration to drive safe. This happened back in 2004, and cars are forever getting quicker and quicker. Please, drive safe, especially this winter.

According to an Australian site he was “speeding up to 180km/h and hit a bump. 40 metres further on the car hit a power pole and split in half. The driver was found 60m away lying on the sidewalk- it was obvious nothing could be done any more” Damn…

Please, spread the word.. Drive safely! And if you want to drive like a maniac, do it on a race track, where the risk of hurting someone is significantly smaller

Can’t help but feel bad for the Father.. losing both pride and joys in his life, his son and his car..

Rest In Peace, never forgotten.

I know what the owner was thinking. “I wish my son was still alive…. so I could KILL HIM”

While I can see what your saying I know from experience (I was in a accident although nothing like this) the first thing that parents will care about is the kid. My parents completely left the car out of it until they made sure I was ok.
