Hearing stories of my parents’ muscles cars from their youth. They always pointed out a beautiful car as it passed by. While my muscle car is newer, I definitely plan on owning many American classics.
I was about 6 years old and I watched The Fast And The Furious for the first time. And I loved Brian’s supra! And thats when I got taken into the car world from there on. Even though most my friends like muscle over imports, I still love imports ALOT more than muscle
When I got my own first car, I was tempted to never get out, nothing else really mattered. I was on top of the world and nothing could stop me. I forced myself to learn to drive manual because the car I bought was manual, no coaching, I just went and drove. I was so excited I forgot to shift to second and went 1st - 3rd and was confused why I wasn’t going anywhere. None of my family were into cars so I don’t know where it came from, all I knew was that shifting through a manual transmission is the greatest feeling of all time.
Since I was a little child, I’ve spent most of my sundays watching Formula 1 on tv. I really enjoyed it, and as a Ferrari fan, I was very happy to see the team racing and winning. In particular, the more I saw Schumacher racing and winning, the more my passion for F1 (and for cars) grew, this is why I always say I owe him my passion.
Got my license and then chased my friend on a motorcycle down a sweet curvey road. I know it wasn’t safe but boy was it fun!
My dad’s first car was a Nissan 240sx, an S13. He got it when he was 23 when he moved here from Canada and just started working. Then a couple years later he got married and had meee! When I was younger, I flipping loved cars, & my dad’s S13 really helped too. They way it was made, still catches my eye to this day. That’s where my love for car came from. If I can find that car again, I would restore it. But it got stolen a couple years ago. I hope it at least went to someone who will take care of it, since we just kept it in the garage.
Getting to ride in a 5.0 fox body on the back roads to the races with my bud and his dad when I was 4 or so. Then getting to race in it.
Ps1, Colin McRae Rally, one nice blue car with those yellow stars, and i’m in love. Subaru Love! :)
When I was three years old, my parents bought me a Power Wheels Jeep. After just a few months my parents had to buy two extra batteries for it because I would drain it so quickly. I spent as much time driving around in it as I could. It looked like the one in the picture except it was white.
I am sooo jealous as a kid i always wanted one of those but my parents wouldn’t let me :(
