Don’t know much about other countries, but Austria is really bad! Last time at Worthersee treffen I paid 150 EUR just for <110mm ride height (ride height <110mm is not legal in Austria, air-rides are completely banned) and US lightning (SML). Heard about people that could not continue and had to be toed home…
Denmark… Because of the 180% import taxes on new cars and high taxes of used cars we have a lot of boring cars… Also, almost every kind of modifying and tuning is either illegal or needs some kind of MOT or something like that
true
Im from Serbia and overall its not that bad for owning a regular car except if its above 2.0 (instead of 250euros you pay 1250 a year for registration) … But, if you want to modify it that’s what makes you cry… Its very expensive to import car parts customs are gonna rip you off, so for a set of wheels you are gonna pay twice as much for shipping and customs.
Malta, no race track and pot holes everywhere and fuel prices are more expensive than the uk atm

Brazil.. people get little money and for you to have an idea, a toyota Corolla is considered a rich people car. I come here and can’t be more jeaulous of you for being able to buy cars like evos, subarus, mazdas, gtrs, and so on, even if I work my ass out as an enginner I’ll probrably never be able to afford any of these cars here in Brazil, maybe an Impreza Wrx, very used, a Camaro costs here, like 90k USD, and people earn like 300 USD a month.
North Korea, you can’t even buy a car there! XD
I’ve heard rumors that Spain doesnt allow aftermarket modifications to vehicles…..
Anyways, I’m in Florida, and they dont care about anything. Smog, trucks that are 15 feet tall, straight pipes, anything goes!
Gotta love Florida, got straight pipes on my and love it.
But god forbid you have your license plate displayed vertically or in any manner other than stock, because thats literally a thousand dollar ticket…
India.Because good decent cars are costly(including taxes of all kind) and the roads wash away during rainy season(Yep,that’s how bad roads are) .Also, the cars are small and bus drivers and truckers can kill you. Literally, they drive half their journey in your lane.See the youtube video and tell me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwZmhjcuSt0 Also check this photo for the condition of the roads http://rollin-india.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/bar-roads.jpg
bro we are used to this
The Philippines perhaps? Every non-car guy (even rich ones) buy this POS. They do not know Toyota is fooling them that it is modern, powerful, etc even though its weak (2.5 diesel 101 hp, 260 Nm, 2.0 gas 134 hp), outdated (4 speed auto as of 2015). Since majority buys this crap, it is the main cause of heavy traffic.
