A good steering wheel is one of life’s great joys. It’s your main connection to the front wheels, so if it’s too large, too thick or the wrong shape it can completely corrupt the driving experience; anyone who’s driven an Alfa 4C or Chevrolet Camaro SS will know what I mean. So, we want to know: what car, present or past, has the best steering wheel from the factory? Personally my favourite is the 911 GT3RS (991). It’s not cluttered with buttons, it has a nice sized rim and it’s wrapped in Alcantara. Perfect.

For some, a good interior is everything. It can be the difference between a good car and a truly great one. Case in point, I recently had the opportunity to drive a Nissan R35 GTR on-track and I was deeply impressed with the car’s dynamics. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the interior. At a standstill the cheap plastics and outdated infotainment system made the £88,560 Nissan feel no more special than a 370Z. It would honestly stop me from buying one (if I had the money that is).

When I first visited the Isle of Man back in 2010 I couldn’t believe the scale of the Snaefell Mountain Course. Over 37 miles of blind corners, insane elevation changes and 200mph straights. It is easily the most exciting and dangerous racetrack I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. However, what makes a racetrack ‘exciting’ is completely subjective. Perhaps you value close racing and constant overtaking more than sheer speed. So we want to know: what racetrack, past of present, do you guys think is the most exciting?

With an increasing number of manufacturers embracing forced induction - we’re looking at you BMW and Mercedes - great sounding engines are becoming a thing of the past. So, we want to know: what car, past or present, has the best sounding exhaust from the factory? Personally my favourite is the Porsche Carrera GT. I first heard one at the 2006 Goodwood Festival of Speed and couldn’t believe how close a road car could get to replicating a Formula 1 soundtrack. I’ve had a love affair with V10s ever since!

Wheels can make or break a car’s aesthetics. People like us are prepared to spend a lot of money to get the ‘right’ look, and as a result the number of aftermarket wheel manufacturers has gone through the roof in the last decade. But we want to know: what car, present or past, has the best looking wheels from the factory? Personally my favourite wheels are the deep dish Fuchs on the Porsche 930 Turbo. Let us know your suggestions!
