The Different Police Cars From 26 Countries Around The World

Of course, I didn’t travel to 26 states and then did donuts in the streets so that I could figure out what their police cars looked like. All these images are according to Google, and I always picked the car / livery that seemed to be the most common. Sure, they may look different where you live - so feel free to post a picture in the comments.

This topic is actually rather interesting - the different cars which the states rely on, the different liveries, the different signal lights, and - probably the most interesting of them all - the different spellings of the word “Police”. To spice things up even more though, I’ve mixed in one or two “just for fun” examples…

Sick list, but America (where I live) I’ve only seen just a few taurus police cars. It’s mostly Dodge chargers, Ford explorers, Chevy tahoes, and the occasional smart car if you live in NY.

It’s mostly Taurus and explorers in Florida. A good amount of impalas too

Finnish police car is outdated…. Here in Finland police mainly uses Mk4 Mondeos and Volkswagen Group’s products but also cars from Mercedes-Benz

Dubai is just every mainstream supercar you can imagine

In the USA I mostly see Explorers.

In Ireland they mostly use Hyundai i30’s and i40’s nowadays.

The most common here in belgium are vw vans. But with some luck you might spot a skoda vrs here and there. Fun fact: i recently started working in a company that makes policecars, firetrucks, ambulances and other stuff like that. Its awesome.
