  1. Gut the daylights out of it, obviously.
  2. Cut the fenders to make room for stiffer, lower, wider suspension with grippy tires
  3. BMW K1600 engine. 160hp, 129lb/ft torque at 7750rpm, 150mph top speed in a 768lb bike. And it’s a shaft driven flat-6
  4. No real aero to speak of (don’t need it at 1:50)
  5. Forced induction?
  6. Did I win? Do I get money?

Swap the engine into an original Mini, some weight reduction and a tune-up
heh.
It’s an engine swap, isn’t it? They’re allowed

take the geo do a full drivetrain conversion from a wrecked vw 2.0T 6 speed, lay it low on cheap ebay race shocks, trim the hell out of the fenders widen it like 4 inches with eBay spacers, pull all interior, and run the used super soft compound tires on stock rims, and build your own wing and cowling with sheet aluminum

OEM RB26 with the rear splines to a driveshaft left bare, Geo’s front wheels anchored to the front driveshaft attachments on the engine’s transmission. Maybe. If it’ll fit. It’ll fit, we just need a bigger hammer.

Also brakes and shocks.

But yeah between that, a lowering, fat tires, and the balls to drive a 300bhp Metro I think it’ll do 1:50.

I would go a different way. I would swap a 1.9tdi ARL 150hp, put some coils into it, slap some wider tires and make as light as possible. And if I’m left with some money I would put bigger injections and chip tune the engine. The car would be a perfect daily with high mpg and a big chunk of power.

Swap the engine with some high performance bike engine, wider tyres and better suspension, remove some unnecessary interior bits (not like there would be many in a Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro) et voilâ
