1986 Audi 4000S

This specific car was originally made for the Arabic market and in 2003 it was brought from Lebanon to Estonia. I bought the car two years ago when I was 16. For over seven years it hadn’t been MOT’d, but there were about 30 000 more kilometers on the clock :D When I got the car, it wouldn’t start, the automatic gearbox had been neglected and was dry and much of the 4000 appearance was missing. As well some of the equipment like cruise control, electric mirrors, electric antenna and AC didn’t work at the time but have since been restored by me. Basically the car was well abused, used for hooning around and no one took care of it. Trying to keep this project period correct: wheels and steering wheel from 1989, just a bit of lowering. Most of the parts are hard to get and I have to arrange them from USA as 4000 was mostly sold there. Early October this year got into an accident: some chick cut me off on a roundabout. Slid into her Accord and got mu car shortened by about 5 cm. Insurance wasn’t very helpful, but as we speak the car is in a shop being straightened and repainted… Pics when it’s done and I get it finally back…miss it so much. This car in stock had electric mirrors, electric windows, electric sunroof and electric antenna, cruise control, AC and as they now all work on my car, I can tell you how comfortable the car is all together.
