2014 Civic Si Vs 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth
I’m aware of the specs(Canadian) I know the Si is faster but I love both cars equally and can’t decide on which one to purchase this coming fall. I always hear on reviews that the Abarth despite its lack of power is a really fun car (5 speed manual). But I’m also considering the Si because it’s more practical and because V-Tec! I’m not completely sure on my decision between the two so I’m asking you guys for your help and opinions !

Flip a coin and choose that, i would go for the civic cause i think it would be more practical + VTEC!!!
Multi-Air is actually like an infinite VTec…. you think I’m joking, you try getting this much power out of 1.4 litres :)
If you have to carry fat friends, get the Civic.
If you want to ENJOY driving, get the Abarth. Hands down, it’s the best. Rowing through the gears is insanely rewarding, and the exhaust note is censored by carthrottle.
Yes, I own an Abarth. I have never driven such a fun vehicle before in my life, and I’ve driven for many years.
Tonight, a woman followed me into a parking lot just to ask about my car. She saw me U-Turn and peel out through 1st and second gear and leave the rest of traffic behind. She could not believe this little car could do that.
As far as space, again, if you don’t have fat friends needing to ride in the back, you’re just fine. I’m 280lbs, 6’1” and fit just fine in the front seat without even sliding it all the way back. As far as the back, I removed the seats completely and installed a “seat delete kit” cover so it looks like there were never back seats at all. Huge space in the back.
I’d take an abarth. I could in no way have one as a daily right now, but it’s a sweet car. My cousin has a normal fiat 500 and I could fit in the back seat, so it’s not too terrible.
The abarth 500 is one of my favorite cars so I would go with that one
Civic is more practical, plus it’ll maintain it’s value better than the Abarth. If a unique style is important to you though, Abarth. I dunno about up there, but there are a million civics of every kind where I live.
I’m a big fan of Honda, in this case, I choose the Abarth. But, if you live in my country, where honda’s dealers are everywhere, I will choose the civic, a fiat is extremely expensive in my country and it’s really hard to find a workshop that can handle a fiat
