Guys, can we please stop posting "Ricer spotted" pictures of cars that clearly aren't riced?
Rice is becoming a word that means “anything other than stock” Not the spoiler infested, flamboyantly coloured 90’s hatchbacks that are buried under a mountain of sponsor stickers like the way the word started.
If it has a small understated bodykit in the same colour of the rest of the body, It’s not.
If it has a tiny bootlip spoiler, it’s not.
If it has 3 stickers on its rear bumper, it’s not.
If it has a carbon bonnet, is slightly lowered and has non stock wheels, It’s still not rice.
To stop this unfairly rice calling, I will formulate a definition of rice right now to end all this.
For a car to be considered rice, it has to fit at least 3 of the following descriptions:
1 - Have a non-stock spoiler that writes visual cheques the engine can’t cash.
2 - more than 50% of the outer surface of the car has to be covered in stickers(Excluding wraps), body kits, functionless air induction kits or be changed so much, that it’s hard to see the original car.
3 - have an exhaust bigger than 5”, louder than a starting jet or have a noise similar to farting through a megaphone.
4 - Have certain parts painted matte black to resemble carbon fiber.
5 - Have more than 3 non-stock body parts that look like they are functional but actually aren’t.
Feel free to give your opinion, modify, improve and discuss(please, keep it clean). If everything goes well, we end up with the unofficial CT definition of “Rice”. Thank you.

While some people are fighting to prevent their heads getting chopped off, we’re here fighting about how some random person we probably won’t meet made his own car look silly. Let’s just relax people.
Come on, every third post on CT is people complaining about people calling cars rice. Some cars are rice, some are not, but if you really like your car or another car in particular, then why would you care if someone else called it rice? No need to be so oversensitive.
1,2,3 and 5 but hey, It’s culture and because of that no one can say something against it http://www.carthrottle.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Bosozoku.jpg

At least imo, this is the proper definition of rice.
Now I’m curious. What if the entire car is matte black? Without the intention of the carbon fiber look.
