Someone done a freedom of info request from the DVLA that showed the Porsche was registered with that plate from manufacture, put on retention while a private plate was on the car between 1991-2001 then put back on the car from then on, so butt hurt Argentinians claiming it was deliberate can get to f**k

Sad to see everything went wrong in the end. That one time Top Gear was trying to behave very well and this happened lol.

That esprit is awesome, the Mach 1 is an awesome car, for what it is. In this, it’s really not suitable.

holy crap, the ending was insanely scary, can´t imagine what it must have felt like, but (and this may seem dumb of me) i always thought that tv-shows, like top gear and others of equal size and magnitude, would travel with some sort of security escort (like the middle east special) and i didn´t really see any of that at the end, but if they knew there would be trouble ahead, why wouldn´t they hire an armed security team of 10-15 people?

also why didn´t the police bring out anti riot gear and watercannons and such? it just seems to me that this whole deal could have been made safer for the crew of top gear…

Do you not think that’s an awful lot for the sake of a show, Fair enough crowd control would be better.
