hayabusa swap, sell the interior except the absolute essentials, race spec suspension, race spec brakes, and wider wheels and tires

2.0 Duratec with ITB’s, race header, exhaust, 93 Oct tune, Getrag 6-speed, 1-way torsen LSD, adjustable coilover suspension, widebody kit, 15x8 wheels with 235 width DOT-spec R-compound tires, big brake kit, fully stripped chassis, chassis braces and roll cage, race bucket seats, 5-point harnesses.

Such a set-up should EASILY have no problem getting around a 1:35-1:40 lap time. Total costs would be around $4600-4700.

Give the Geo to a less fortunate person, use the $5000 to rent a viper acr and be happy. On your way out the Geo will still be where you left it and you have a ride home.

This suggestion would be for someone that has access to a machine shop and is a good fab guy. Get a a hayabusa engine (or similar) and fab something to fit a diff. That could take 1500$ is you’re lucky with the engine. then comes suspension, brakes and used 13in slick w/rims. that should take 2000$, the brakes being the most expensive I guess. Then a rollcage, a used racing seat/steering/5 point harness. Weight reduction, that’s free. It would be tight with 5000$ but i’m sure it’s feasible.

Do nothing to it, lose the race, keep geo metro and 5000 dollars.

Wheels, sport tires, discs all around (rear prolly uses drums) run 5 pounds with the fuel being managed by a cheap mechanical fmu. Maybe a sway bar and Springs, then rip everything out of it. Still have money for the cigrits . Then we cheech’d

Id get a used racing seat and a faux momo from ebay ,remove every peice of insulation and pop in used tyres and if i have the cash , probably borrow or get a old 4 pot from a turbo starlet and get a decent exhaust from a used yard . If i have any left , probably cut the springs (or coilovers ) and paint the calipers red for extra breaking power
