Take 3 grand buy an 05-06 Cobalt SS Supercharged wrecked or not and swap motor, trans, brakes, what ever I can use in. Use left over 2k for suspension and tyres. Car is still FWD car is still road legal, idk if it will hit the 1:50 but it’s would be fun as hell to try.

Take the Geo gut and strip it, buy a Acura Integra with the b18a1 and 5 speed swap front and rear sub frames install an eBay turbo kit, beefy clutch and some sticky road race tires for grip I think you would be good at least for your one lap.

2. Swap alfa romeo 3.2litre v6
   4.remove unneccesary wieght(ie doors, windscreen etc)
3. Gud Tyres

Its still front wheel drive no one said anything about wether or not your alowed to drive backwards
