The Ontario Government wants to put a ban on aftermarket parts in Ontario and we need to stop them

Please, even if you aren’t from Ontario, as car enthusiasts we need to stick together to face problems like this.

The law that is apparently going to be put in place is called the “OEM or Illegal” law

I’d protest before letting this happen.. There will be riots, haha. Ontario is not one for being pushed around by idiot politicians.

There’s an update. This is already in effect and isn’t an actual bill, so it affects nothing basically.

Car parts=Spending money. Spending money=Improving the economy. Essentially the government does not want to improve the economy. Enough said.

So, wait….you mean all the cars on the road would be a timeless stock appearance? No more tasteless mods or stance garbage? Oh this is actually very good. Canada is a great place to test this out; in fact, they should start on that Subie in the pic.

That’s just wrong. All of the things governments do for people to “be themselves” but I can’t express myself with my car? That’s wrong.

Ontario isn’t the only provence doing something wrong. For example, My father is a Montreal police officer. The Quebec government is trying to take their pention funds because they are in dept from doing something illegal. So what do they do? Switch the laws to make it legal. If you go to Montreal and see the Police officers wearing camo pants, that’s why. This is so wrong on so many levels. I can’t wait until she get’s voted out.

Oh man…if that went through…there would be a sudden mass exodus of car people from Canada, literally thousands of Canadian cars would swarm the united states, seeking refuge from this oppression, in a wave of straight sixes, v8s, vtecs and turbo noises. And we would welcome them with open arms.

‘Welcome yon weary travellers and rest your tires, nourish yourselves and your exquisite machines. You are now safe from the tyranny that is ‘OEM or Illegal.’ You need no longer worry about this devastating corruption.’

…At least until Trump takes office and makes it worse for EVERYONE.
(post-dramaticization: in hindsight i realize they could just move out of Ontario…but I was already rolling on this so i stuck with it xP)

This hurts me as a car enthusiast, because modifying cars are how we show what kind of person we are. I hate this and I dont even live in Ontario.
